SEAMOLEC has begun implementing its collaboration with Universitas Muhammadiyah Mahakarya Aceh (Ummah) through a training program on Interactive Presentation Learning Media. The event took place from May 26–28, 2025, at the Ummah campus in Bireuen, Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam.
The training was officially opened by the Chairman of the Daily Advisory Board of Universitas Muhammadiyah Mahakarya Aceh, Dr. Athaillah Abdul Latief, Sp.OG. He warmly welcomed the SEAMOLEC team and expressed his appreciation for the partnership between the two institutions.
Following that, Mr. Dona Octanary, a SEAMOLEC Training staff, delivered an overview of the program. He explained that SEAMOLEC has long developed distance learning schemes. However, due to technological limitations in the past, developing digital learning materials was difficult, time-consuming, and often resulted in simple content. Today, with various digital platforms available, digital learning materials can be developed quickly and easily, and the outcomes are far more diverse.
The Interactive Presentation Learning Media training is one of the efforts made by Ummah, as a newly established university, to enhance the capacity of its educators. Through this training, Ummah's educators are expected to develop digital learning materials that are simple and diverse, yet capable of improving interaction between students and the learning content.
With guidance from two SEAMOLEC instructors—Mr. Ali Imron and Mr. Dona Octanary—the training invited participants to design interactive multimedia learning materials by focusing on multimedia design, interactivity principles, and the basic use of Microsoft PowerPoint. Participants learned to add interactive elements such as action buttons, navigation tools, hyperlinks, quizzes, and action controls to increase audience engagement. Additionally, they were taught how to manage various types of media assets—such as images, videos, and audio—and how to design aesthetically pleasing slides using effective color palettes and layouts.
At the end of the training, participants who create and submit a final project that meets the set criteria will receive a certificate equivalent to 32 learning hours.
