SEAMOLEC and BRIN Hold Collaborative Webinar: Dynamics of the Research Process in the Era of Artificial Intelligence

SEAMOLEC and the Education Research Center, National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), held a webinar titled "Dynamics of the Research Process in the Era of Artificial Intelligence" on July 1, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:30 AM WIB via the Zoom Meeting platform. The webinar was intended for prospective teacher students who have been actively involved in research activities with SEAMOLEC and BRIN. Attended by 60 participants, this webinar served as a follow-up and dissemination forum for the collaborative research conducted by the two institutions, titled “Exploring the Creativity of Prospective Teacher Students in Optimizing Generative Artificial Intelligence to Develop Learning Strategies”. The research underlying this webinar aimed to explore the potential and creativity of students in designing more adaptive, engaging, and relevant learning strategies in the digital era.

The webinar session was opened by Mrs. Trina Fizzanty, Ph.D., Head of the Education Research Center, Social Sciences and Humanities Research Organization, National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN). She highlighted the role of artificial intelligence in assisting researchers. The presentation session was delivered by a resource person from the BRIN Education Research Center, Dr. Janu Arlin Wibowo, and moderated by Mrs. Khofifa Najma Iftitah, a researcher from BRIN. In his presentation, Dr. Janu emphasized the importance of understanding AI, AI’s potential in education, ethics in utilizing AI, the importance of prompting in AI usage, and the elements of a good prompt. Through this webinar, it is expected that prospective teacher students can deepen their understanding and skills in using advanced technology to design more effective and creative learning.
