Director

Dr. GATOT HARI PRIOWIRJANTO was born in Kertosono, East Java, Indonesia, on 30 May 1951. He was the Director of the Bureau of Planning and International Cooperation in the Secretariat General, Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Indonesia.

He got his bachelor degree from the Institute of Technology at Bandung (ITB) in 1976 majoring in Mining. In 1982, he got his master’s degree from RWTH-Aachen, Germany, majoring in Hydrogeology. In 1985, from the same university in Germany, he got his doctoral degree
majoring in Hydrogeology.

He started his career as a lecturer and a researcher in Mining Faculty, Institute of Technology at Bandung (ITB) in 1978. From June 1996 to February 1999, he was appointed as Attache of Education and Culture in Indonesian Embassy in Bonn, Germany. From December 1998 to Deember 2005, he was assigned as the Director of Vocational Education in the Directorate General for the Management of Primary and Secondary Education. In 21 December 2005, he was sworn in as the Head of Bureau for Planning and International Cooperation in the Secretariat General of the Ministry of National Education.
