In its effort to develop collaboration and cooperation with international partners SEAMOLEC initiated SEA-Japan programme to facilitate cooperation between educational institutions in Indonesia and Japan, especially in the field of ICT, Health, Economy, and Hospitality. This programme is expected to accelerate collaborative learning, scholarship, join-research, as well as exchange of students, teachers and learning materials.
Two of activities in the cooperation that have been conducted are industry internship and care giver internship. The interns are recruited from graduate of high schools, vocational high schools, diploma and bachelor level. All graduates will have opportunity to study and work in Japan which will eventually reduce the number of unemployment rate in Indonesia.
Other programme facilitated by SEAMOLEC is cooperation with educational institutions or industry in Japan. This program is designed to open opportunity for schools or higher education institutions to have patners in Japan in order to improve the quality of education and to enable those insitutions in conducting students or teacher exchange.
