The Meaning of SEAMOLEC Logo:
- The inner circle of the SEAMEO logo displays SEAMEO lantern to indicate that SEAMOLEC is imbued with SEAMEO spirit and is guided by SEAMEO policies and guidelines in whatever it undertakes wherever it is. In this way SEAMOLEC helps accomplish SEAMEO' s mission, goals and objectives.
- The outgoing arrows around the outer circle of the SEAMOLEC logo represent SEAMEO members and their openness to new ideas for improvement as well as their openness to the idea of open learning.
- The beams of light that appears as white color in the SEAMOLEC logo reflects sprays of illuminating light from SEAMEO lantern to indicate the idea that SEAMEO programs, especially those on open learning, spread throughout all SEAMEO members.
- The white circles around the SEAMOLEC logo represent communication waves to indicate that learning is a process of communication.
- Successive inter-connection between two but one arrowhead points indicates that as a communication process learning is a never-ending activity.
- The red color SEAMOLEC logo represents energy and power to indicate the ideal of SEAMOLEC viability and endurance to contribute to the progress and welfare of all SEAMEO member countries.
